My initial introduction to Faculty-One came as a result of enrolling on a 2 day VAT Essentials course. Having taken on a new role as a Tax & Treasury Manager within industry, it soon became apparent that I needed to quickly become familiar with VAT rules and compliance, and the course I attended certainly met these requirements. A year on, having mastered the basics of VAT, I returned to Faculty-One to learn more about the complexities of EU Trade and International Services.

Gwen Ryder was an excellent lecturer, with many years of experience in practice which she drew upon during the courses. The course content was relevant to the key issues faced back at work, and was professionally delivered. Groups were small, generally between 3-5, which enabled Gwen to find time to discuss specific queries and questions from participants on the course, and provide useful advice to take back to the workplace.

Following the excellent VAT courses, Faculty-One was first on the list to be approached when I was looking for a course covering Corporation Tax in Ireland. Although there was no scheduled course on this subject, Faculty-One approached a lecturer and within a few weeks, a tailor made course was taking shape and a course date finalised. The lecturer was experienced in both UK and Irish corporation tax compliance, and perfectly qualified to deliver the course content. Not only was the course extremely informative, but also included a complete set of reference material to take away which has proved invaluable.
